Islamabad , Sher Afzal Marwat a prominent leader of PTI, has received a significant legal reprieve from the Islamabad High Court. The court has issued an order preventing his arrest without prior judicial approval.

Justice Suman Rafat Imtiaz of the Islamabad High Court ruled in favor of Sher Afzal Marwat’s petition, halting any warrant less arrests against him. This decision came in response to concerns raised by Marwat’s legal team regarding potential secretive legal actions against him.

Court Orders and Procedural Details

In the written order, the court has directed that no arrest should be made in any case involving Sher Afzal Marwat without explicit permission from the court. The court has also issued notices to several key officials, including the Interior Secretary, the IG of Islamabad, the IG of Punjab, and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), requesting their detailed responses to the petition.

Petitioner’s Concerns

The court has requested that all relevant parties submit their comments on Marwat’s request, ensuring transparency and adherence to legal protocols.
